VIP lanyards

A VIP lanyard is a printed neck strap that says VIP. You give it to a guest of honour, someone going backstage, or anyone with an all-access pass, so the door can see the pass without reading the card. The word can already sit on the fabric, or we can print your logo instead. You can order the ones that already have the word on them, or send us how many you need and the artwork and we will quote the job.

What you are ordering

The strap is polyester or nylon, with VIP printed on it, or with your event mark. A name card usually sits in a clear holder on the clip. We print the strap. You can print the names on the cards, or we can print plastic cards as well.

This is the usual order for a gala, a conference, or a backstage list: a small group of guests each get a pass around the neck. People working the room still wear staff lanyards. If you are kitting a whole conference, that is covered on conference lanyards.

If you are running a party and VIP is only a colour on the wrist at the door, with nothing around the neck, that job is coloured wristbands. We can help with that too. This page is for the pass around the neck.

    You only need a VIP lanyard for the people who wear the pass. Send that number, not the whole room.

    Printed VIP already says VIP, and that is the simpler order. If the pass has to match the event mark, order full colour and send the artwork. We will send a proof before anything is printed.

    Tell us about holders and cards

    If you would like a holder on each lanyard, mention that when you order and we will include it. Add plastic cards if you would like the names printed as well. Then order from the shop, or ask us for a quote with how many you need.

What are the two types of lanyards?+
There is no official pair. For a VIP pass, the usual split is the word already printed on the strap, or your logo on full colour. The fabrics are polyester or nylon. You can see both in custom lanyards.
