Teacher lanyards
A teacher lanyard is a staff ID strap with the school colour or logo on it. You order the same printed lanyards we make for offices and events, just with the campus identity on the fabric. Shop the range, or ask us for a quote with a logo and a staff count.

In short
- The job is visible ID: name, photo, maybe a house colour. Keys often sit on the same strap.
- Use plain polyester or full colour and put the school mark on it.
- If the staff list is short, see small run lanyards.
- If the school wants a clasp that comes apart if the strap is pulled, see breakaway lanyards.
What teachers need on a lanyard
The strap has to hold an ID all day and survive keys, a whistle, and a lot of walking. A joke print from a gift shop will not do that. Printed Staff already says Staff. Full colour is better when the crest has to match.
Visitor and contractor prints help the front office split adults on site. That is often more useful than a teacher-only design for every adult in the building.
- School colours on polyester or nylon
- Logo or crest on a full colour strap
- Staff or visitor wording for the office
- A clasp that pops open, if policy asks for it
How schools usually order
One admin sends a logo, a headcount, and whether new staff mid-year will need extras. Artwork still goes through a proof. Crest colours are the thing people notice if they are wrong, so do not skip that step because it is a school job.
Wristbands for sports days are a separate order. Use tyvek or slap for students at a carnival, not a staff lanyard.
